Countdown to December

We are leaving 12/3/08 for FL and will be boarding Wonder 3 day cruise on the 4th then going directly from the ship to wdw. We will be staying at Coronado Springs until 12/14/08. Then back home for us. This is our first trip to WDW and first cruise ever. We are so excited. We are planning one day at Universal. My kids really loved it in Hollywood. They are both girls and are 16 and 12. Anyone have any advice for a first timer?

It will be more helpful for you if you ask questions though. There is so much to share about WDW we wouldn't know where to start without some direction from you.

You are going to enjoy your holiday though, that much I can say!

My best advice is to slow down and notice all the great little things WDW has to offer. It is a HUGE place and there is no way to see everything in one trip.

Have you made your ADR's yet? Those are advance dining reservations for the sit down restaurants. It is a must do if you want to eat someplace other than counter service.

Oh good point! Call 407-WDW-DINE to reach the reservationists and make your ADRs.

We have plenty of ADR's. We are on the regular dining plan and have them for the luau, and fantasmic and a few others. I am very curious about transportation. We have Magical express transfers from airport to ship to wdw. I was thinking maybe a rental car though so we could stay the pre-night in port canaveral but not sure I want to pay for parking. Any ideas?

There are several fairly reasonable hotels right near the port, but why would you want to do that? The Magical Express transfer is half the fun!

Good that you have ADRs! See!? You are more in the know than you may realize!
