Food and Wine Festival: Cities in the World
Just came in today's mail, a flyer advertizing the special events for the Food and Wine Festival.
Sweet Sundays, September 28th through November 9 (Sundays only of course).
Celebrity pastry chefs create three signarue desserts. Enjoy a welcome continental breakfast buffet, including sparkling wine and sample desserts, throught the session. (2 hours. 10:30-12:30).
Different pastry chef per session.
$75 per person, plus tax, gratuity included.
The Cook, The Book and The Bottle
Fridays from 10:30 am through 12:30 pm
An acclaimed cookbook author prepares a delicious three course lunch and enjoy the meal wiht selected wines. Take home an autographed book and a commemorative bottle of wine as a keepsake of this incredible experience. A notable wine priciple presents the accompanying wine with lunch.
Different chef per session.
$150 per person, plus tax, gratuity included.
Kitchen Conversations
Visit with an acclaimed cluinary personality and discover how he or she enjoys life in and oustide the kitchen. cooking demostration, tasting and an autographed copy fo the celebrity's book are included in this delightful event.
Thursdays from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Satuday from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
$75 per person plus tax, gratuity included.
A Regional Feast-Celebrating Greece
This eveing includes a welcome reception, a four course meal and Greek music to set the mood.
World Showplace Pavilion.
Ednesday, October 22, 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
$160 per person, plus tax, gratuity included.

Cheese Tastings.
Saturday from 2:30-3:45.
Different countries featured.

Vertical Wine Tastings
Vineyard through tasting. Saturdays 1:00-3:00 pm

Food and Wine Parings
Three excetiponal wines with three tasting portions of regional food from EPCOT restaurants (Italy, Japan, Morocco).
$55 per person...
Master Class Series
Sommelier led class. $95 per person. Held three dates at Wonders of Life Festival Center.
French Regional Lunches
Bistro De Paris at France Pavilion
Five Sundays.
Food and Wine regions of France.
$135 per person
EPCOT Wine Schools.
Festival Welcome Center
Saturday (4) 1-4 pm
$125 per person...
Party for the Senses
25 eminent chefs and 70 wines and beers.
Saturdays in October and November
6:30 -9:30
$135 per person
City Taste's
Four Fridays
New Event. Regional cuisind and beverages from featured cities.
$95 per person...
Signature Dining
Hosted in Bistro De Paris, Victoria and Albert's, or Bluezoo.
$150-375 per person (375 is V and A's).
And the Ultimate...
THE BOCUSE D'OR GRAND GALA!
Saturday, 9/27/08 7:00-12 midnight
Mix and Mingle with the Who's Who of the food and wine world at this grand gala...
Scheduled to attend: Paul Bocuse, Daniel Boulud, Thosmas Keller, Jerome Bocuse, Patrick O'Connell, Charlie Trotter, Traci des Jardins and David Meyers and many more.
$450 per person...
Theme park admission is required for all but the last one.
Reservations open on August 25, 2008 7:00 am EST.

Yeah, I thought so too. We did the Party for the Senses several years ago (I think the cost was $95 per person at the time). We were not happy with it at all.
Can't say as thought I'd do it again.
However, some of those sound really nice. I would love to do the Gala, but $450 I haven't got for that!
Of course, I could take a page from Dawn's book and offer to photo any of the special events for the price of tickets to the event!

Yes, some of those tickets are expected to be gone by 7:05.
Ahhh, if only I had an extra $450 lying around!
