Which I-Drive Hotel?
Ok in the hope (fingers crossed) that Virgin let us add another week to our stay next year i have been researching hotels for our 15 night I-Drive stay.
I'm looking at:-
Fairfield Inn - Virgin £461
Travelodge - xcapewithme.com £298
Metropolitan Express - xcapewithme.com £422
Obviously i want to keep the cost down as muchas possible but don't want to compromise on safety or convenience.
All have a free breakfast and pool.
Does anyone know anything about these hotels or even stayed at them before?
Thanks guys.XXX

Re: Which I-Drive Hotel?
Not yet hun.
I phoned Val on Friday and she added me to the list of people she needed to speak to them about and she was waiting for Virgin to call back.
Typically they phoned while i was talking to her so we won't know anything now until Monday.
Will post as soon as i know.

Tracey I would NOT stay at a US Travelodge.

Re: Which I-Drive Hotel?
No. Travelodge is in the same category as Rodeway.

Fairfield Inn would be your best bet of those three. It is a Marriot owned chain, and although basic, usually very adequate, safe and clean.

Re: Which I-Drive Hotel?
Fairfield is hot favourite with us too!!!
Cost a bit more but looks so much nicer and cleaner and quieter.
It's only a small hotel so i'm not sure whether to jusrt book now with the best price i can get or wait in the hope i can get a better deal.
Booking direct is a lot more expensive too.
