      MTV video music awards

      Britney Spears and British comic Russell Brand are hosting the MTV awards in Los Angeles this evening.

      It is reported that Britney will not be singing tonight. Her comeback on last years show was heavily panned by the critics. She has said that she will be doing something fun and unexpected this evening. I wonder what it will be ????

      It will be Russell Brands first major US live appearance.
