WDW Railroad
Does the WDW railroad go all the way around the perimeter of MK?
How many stops are there and where?
We have never done this.....are there any photo opportunities on this ride?

Re: WDW Railroad
Taking the train around the whole loop is also a great way to cool off and get off of your feet too

Re: WDW Railroad
It's a really neat little experience. Do have your camera ready as there are little vignettes where you can snap off a few shots. Something you don't often see!
The Main St. Station is fun, with old time penny games. They used to work, but the last time we were there they no longer did. The Main St. Station is a nice place to watch the parades too, if you get there way ahead of time!
The only drawback to the train is that you can't take strollers on it. So, that stops some folks from riding.
Seth loves to ride each time, as it is complete with whistle, conductors and the engineer!

We always try and go on the railroad each visit. It is a welcome relief when you are hot and tired. :

Re: WDW Railroad
And you get to shout "All Aboard" at Main St station.

We left the stroller in the stroller parking at the Toontown station and did a full circuit. If you have a rental stroller you leave it at one station and at your destination station you collect another one. You'll need your receipt to collect one.

Re: WDW Railroad
Yep! I knew there was some sort of provision for the rentals. Good point about the privately owned strollers. If you make the full circuit it's no problem to leave the stroller behind and pick it up on the return trip!

Re: WDW Railroad
Sounds like it's going on our 'must do' list then

How long does it take to do a full circut?

Re: WDW Railroad
I honestly don't remember, but I'd guess maybe about twenty minutes? It would depend upon how many folks are embarking and disembarking at each stop.
