Wow, that's a great saving! You must use a lot of groceries.

If I could I would happily shop in Farm shops, organic boxes and the like all the time, unfortunately I can't afford to do that so I am happy to use the supermarket that gives me the best deals back, Tesco happens to be up the road and I have been very happy with the clubcard deals I have used over the past few years. ::

Re: Have you used VA vouchers towards VH?

We've had to stop our organic box for the time being too. We use the local butcher for chicken as he is cheaper than all the supermarkets. Hardly eat red meat - we buy organic beef for Steven as he needs the iron.

I'm not totally happy with Tesco's ethics but they are cheaper than Sainsburys who we normally use so until things pick up I'll grab a Clubcard and start collecting points.

      Every little helps.

We are a long way from the nearest Asda. They do home delivery to us but I got so annoyed with their website I just gave up in the end.

Re: Have you used VA vouchers towards VH?

We try really hard to support organic farming, but surprisingly it's pretty hard to do here. We were participating in an organic co-op that had delivery service, but the vegetables and fruit always spoiled within a day or so. Sometimes they were moldy and rotting when we got them, so we stopped doing that.

It's quite hard to support local artisanal produce, dairy or meat here in Florida.

We shop at Publix, Fresh Market and Whole Foods. But more and more we stick to the basics at Publix. We are still doing the meal replacement thing, so only purchase the preparations for one actual meal a day. It's astonishing how much that ends up costing.

I will starve though before I shop at Walmart.
