18% is added, but if you disagree with that you can speak to a manager. I've never disagreed with it, so can't tell you how that would go, if you did.

We really like the DDE, and have saved the cost of the card within the first couple of uses each year. I honestly can't remember the cost? I think somewhere around $60-75 depending?

You can use it for all DISNEY table service, including alcohol. Some bars take it (but not all) and I believe the All Stars food court takes it too.

You get a list of participants with the card.

20% added at v&a... assuming that's the only place

Yeah I think even if you consider it to be a pre-payment of all tips, it's still worth it just for that alone

Oh, I didn't know about the V & A percentage. It is 18% at the places we've used it.

You can of course, add to the tip if you choose.

Re: disney dining experience is it worth it?

The card costs $60.00 for an AP holder. And the auto tip is indeed 18% at all TS and lounges. There is NO TIP at the food courts where you can also use the card. Some waitpersons will tell you that the tip is included and some won't. Our waiter at Yachtsman (Ricardo) told us and even scratched out the tip line. I tried to add an additional tip and he wouldn't let me saying that the 18% was plenty. If I had some cash in my pocket I would have left that but I didn't.

That's what we did with Ricardo. He was nearly apologetic about the "automatic" gratuity. I left cash in the tab folder along with the signed receipt.

That was very kind of you Tink.

Trust me, as you well know, Ricardo is one of those incredibly rare servers that make it very easy to leave a special gratuity for.
