best cell phone for a lady?

My DDIL just bought a Blackberry . They seem to be the hot item . They do everything . Have an MP3 Player, camera, and GPS .
Geez, I must be ancient . I still have an LG flip phone from three years ago .

its so robust being stainless steele too, not had a problem with mine josh

Robyn had hers for 2 weeks and the screen cracked.Not on the outside but the pixels on the inside.
Had to pay £30 to have it fixed.

She's too scared to use it now and we were told by 3 that it shouldn't be carried in a pocket or bag.

That's what i said and there are messages from people on the nokia forum stating that the same thing has happened to their phone but nokia will not accept that it is not fit for it's purpose and rufuse to pay for the repairs.
I spent hours on the phone sorting it out.
I even took it to a 3 shop so they could see how new and unmarked it was but as soon as it got to the repair centre they just said it's been dropped or knocked £30 or no phone.

I have a bar phone that was outdated when I got it 3 years or so ago! It serves the purpose, though--sending and receiving telephone calls. I don't even text message--not sure why anyone does, to be honest!
