Taja ~ I'm with you ... it serves my need for incoming and outgoing calls . And I do text, but not much . Takes too long , I could have a conversation in the time it takes me to text .

I've got LG Viewty in silver. It's a touchscreen and has optional stylus you can also write with onscreen or use a touchscreen 'qwerty' keyboard for messages.

Always had Nokias before and this is the best phone I have ever had - oh and it looks nice which is the most important thing for us girls

That's what i said and there are messages from people on the nokia forum stating that the same thing has happened to their phone but nokia will not accept that it is not fit for it's purpose and rufuse to pay for the repairs.
I spent hours on the phone sorting it out.
I even took it to a 3 shop so they could see how new and unmarked it was but as soon as it got to the repair centre they just said it's been dropped or knocked £30 or no phone.

I'd gather all the information I can (repeat cases ect) print it off. Get the phone and put it in a protective phone case (which she's always kept it in nudge nudge ) and be onto the store.

I hate bad customer service and this is something terrible!
I sound like a right saddo, but I don't like being taken for a ride by big companies who use their power to scare people
