Disney give AARP members new benefits
The Walt Disney Company and AARP, an assocation for Americans age 50 and up, have announced that they are partnering to bring exclusive offers to AARP's 40 million members. Mickey Mouse made an appearance at this year's AARP conference to help announce the collaboration.
With American grandparents spending an estimated $40 billion a year on their grandchildren, part of the focus of this initiative is in creating unique family oriented Disney experiences for AARP members.
Initially, Disney will offer discounts on Disneyshopping.com. AARP members will also be able to enjoy special events designed for them at Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival, and both Epcot and Disneyland's Food and Wine Festivals.
