whats coming in place of Pleasure island?

Ive just read about all the clubs shutting but what will be replacing them, anyone know?

Don't really know for absolute certainty but Disney say they are going to make it more family oriented. As if there isn't enough for a family to do at Disney already.

Ive seen reports it will indeed be more shopping/dining possibilities. I think they really like the revenue they get from the rainforest cafes, TREXs of this world than the clubs.

Mickey custom tshirt places and stuff like that also rumoured

Unfortunately, there's already too much shopping at WDW for my taste. I wouldn't mind a couple of decent, moderate priced eateries--preferrably something that doesn't require an ADR!

I guess thats just what theyre thinking with all the restaurants booked up they need to build more to get more money

As long as they include some moderate TS venues, I'm with the addition of restaurants. I don't enjoy spending $30 plus on nearly every TS meal. That's one reason we usually book them every two or three days. The other is too much regimentation--and my need to graze rather than eat "meals." I eat the same amount of food as three meals per day, it's just divided over six or so sessions!

You know Sleepy Hollow in the Magic Kingdom used to have a great vegetarian based menu of pasta salads and snacky stuff like that. Then it went theme park snackage and fast food again. A place like that in DTD would be awesome.
