Go Karting for adults
I'm looking for somewhere in or around Orlando that DH can go go karting. Somewhere for adults. Any ideas?

Naskart Family Raceway
5071 West Irlo Bronson Highway, Kissimmee 34746
(407) 397-7699
Cost: $10 for a 35-lap ride
Hours: Daily 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Location: Between Mile Marker 10 and 11 on US 192
There are no video arcades or other distractions at Naskart. Go karts are the central and only attraction at this small venue on the busy 192 tourist strip. There are two fairly short tracks. The “Naskar” track features fully enclosed stock-car-like karts (the roof closes over your head) and an oval track, while the “Indy” track offers one- and two-seater karts and a winding course. A new feature is toy go karts so even little kids can get into the action.
Nearby: Arabian Nights, Old Town, SkyCoaster & G-Force.
Li’l 500
150 Atlantic Drive (at US 17-92), Maitland 32751
(407) 831-2045
Cost: $4 to $5 per ride, depending on track
Hours: Monday to Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Location: From I-4 Exit 92 drive east on SR 436, then south on US 17-92 1.5 miles
Located north of Orlando, outside the tourist zone, this family-oriented attraction offers three separate tracks. The Family Track is strictly for little kids, while the Moto Track and Fastrac appeal to teens and adults.
Nearby: Birds of Prey Center, Holocaust Memorial, Enzian Theater, Maitland Historical Museums.
Kissimmee Go Karts
4708 West Irlo Bronson Highway, Kissimmee 34746
(407) 396-4800
Cost: $4 per lap, 5 laps for $16, 10 for $22
Hours: Daily usually 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Location: 1 mile east of SR 565 at Mile Marker 13
Nothing fancy here, just go karts conveniently located on Kissimmee’s main tourist strip. Go karts come in three sizes here — a large and a small single-seater and a two-seater — and the price is the same for all sizes of kart. The almost one-mile track snakes around three loops with a bridge and overpass arrangement allowing the karts to end up where they started.
Nearby: Airboat Rentals U-Drive, Medieval Times, Pirate Island Adventure Golf.I am a travel agent with The Magic For Less Travel. Please private message me if you'd like help booking a trip!

I went on this one and it's fab. He can pick up speed because if you have a driving license you get a faster cart, but, if you don't have one you have to get a smaller cart.Cost: $4 per lap, 5 laps for $16, 10 for $22
Hours: Daily usually 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Location: 1 mile east of SR 565 at Mile Marker 13

It's great fun, and my dad prefered it to the one at Magical Midway (I didn't go there)
I tried the one at kissimme, and I liked it, but it wasn't anything brilliant.

Re: Go Karting for adults
Diane, speaking as someone who has raced karts for many years, just make sure that wherever you go that Dave is given a crash helmet and protective clothing despite the heat.
Safety is paramount and I have seen some nasty accidents where the drivers would have suffered had they not been protected.
