After close to 20 years in operation, Disney's Pleasure Island is undergoing a major overhaul, including the closure of the Adventurer's Club, Comedy Warehouse, 8 Traxx, Motion, Mannequins and BET Sound Stage.

SCHEDULE SEPTEMBER 25 -27:

Adventurer's Club open at 6pm with additional Library shows
Comedy Warehouse opens early with shows at 6:55pm, 8pm, 9:10pm, 10:25pm, 11:35pm and 12:45am
SEPTEMBER 25-26: Live Band "Hip Kitty" performing four 45 minute sets: 7:30pm, 8:45pm, 10pm, 11:15pm
SEPTEMBER 27: Live Band "Frankie and the West End Boys" performing four 45 minute sets: 7:30pm, 8:45pm, 10pm, 11:15pm
DJ will be performing from 6pm - 1:30am between band sets
While details are scant, the redesigned Pleasure Island will be a mix of new dining and shopping venues.

Pleasure Island Annual Passholders can request a pro-rated refund.

The Pleasure Island nightclub entry option on both Premium Annual Passes and Water Park Fun & More passes will no longer be offered after September 28. Starting on June 28, a round of golf on the nine-hole Oak Trail Golf Course became a ticket enhancement for both of these passes.

I've heard from some friends who are going there almost every night that people are stealing whatever they can get away with. They are pulling masks off the walls, and taking anything that can be removed without their being caught.

That's just wrong.

that is wrong. I don't think I want to go anymore. I prefer to remember it the way it was.

that is terrible , but people that are drunk can be irresponsible . I'm sad that these clubs are closing .

is it just the clubs that are closing and the rest still going to operate......ive never been there so i have no idea whats there all i know is that they have spent loads doing it up, so ive been told and now free admission, is that correct?

You used to have to pay to enter the PI area at all, Mick. They stopped that some time ago and let folks on PI and allowed wandering around. There were drink and food booths so it kept folks there enjoying the outdoor entertainment.

Then they took away the west end stage. :sigh;

You only had to pay if you were going to enter one of the clubs.

It's on it's way to being another outdoor strip mall.
