There are books available for pressed pennies and pressed quarters.
The pennies are 51 cents each (penny plus two quarters to feed the machine). The quarters are $1.25 each (quarter to press and four quarters to feed the machine). I think the books are around $7 each.
Definitely not an expert. I collect a few--usually something comemorative of the year or current celebration and some Mickey and Minnie pennies. It really just depends on if I like them!
Typically two or three each visit.

I have them too, from all over ,what a great thing to collect. Just got two from Grandfather Mountain in NC.

My kids were really into these when they were younger. Seems as they've gotten older the thrill is gone a bit (makes me sad). But yes, the machines are everywhere! Resorts included.
