      What ARE these and when do they appear?

      Im just reading a trip report that says they were all over them and the doors, cars and everywhere???????

      They seem to be a little more in force this season. :sigh; They'll make a wicked mess of your car. They don't hurt a thing, but they are so slow moving that they are annoying. They'll land on you and are easily flicked off, but don't be too harsh or they'll smear all over you. That is ICKY.
