weather in october?

trying to plan for october 2009 but whats the weather usually like?

the hurricane season is over right? but how hot is it?

Officially the hurricane season is not over until November but they strike rarely in October. The weather is normally warm enough during the day for shorts but there are times when it can get chilly at night and you may want a jacket, sweater or sweatshirt.

no cane season is officially until nov 30th, but unusal to get them then i tnk

weather is very hot still when we go last two weeks its alway upper 80's

night time temps have always been warm for us still shorts and t shirts, nov starts to get chilly tho

We were there the first week or so of October in 2006. Humid and very warm. Definitely shorts/capris/tanks weather. But take a light jacket (long-sleeved shirt/windbreaker) for the air conditioning or in case the jet stream dips suddenly. It just happened here (Arizona) this weekend and we dropped 20+ degrees in three days. Granted, that was from 103 to 82 degrees, so from very hot to very comfortable, but in Florida it would be significantly cooler with the same temperature drop. Or allocate funds for a new sweatshirt, if necessary.
