Thread: If we dont have DME tags in time?

    Whats the advice if we dont receive any magical express information before we go? do we just go anyway and hope it'll work out or can we not use it? :(

    Nope! You can absolutely use it!! Just take your travel info to the DME check in and let them know you didn't receive your tags in time and they'll sort you out at the counter...

    If this happens, you *will* have to retrieve your own luggage from the luggage carousel (because it won't have the DME sticky tags), but the DME bus driver will be happy to help you load/unload it into the underside of the bus...plus then you don't have to wait the possible three hours to have it delivered!

    We didn't have our tags in Jan but it was fine. Like the previous poster said we had to take our luggage with us to the ME desk and the driver loaded it on the bus. We have only used the tags once as in September we knew we would want to change clothes as soon as we arrived as it would be hot so we didn't put the tags on and took the cases with us.
