It's not just a dessert place though is it? Can you have a proper meal there?

It is definitely a proper meal place. The portions are huge! We ordered 2 appetisers between the four of us for lunch and then took dessert away because we were so full!

We are going to go next year in the evening (the one at Mall of Millenia) as it was a much nicer restaurant (decor wise) than I though it was going to be.

      Go hungry!

We love the cheesecake factory and always try to fit it in to our schedule.

The selection of food is vast, plentiful and really nice.

I suggest you shop in the mall ( at Millenia) first and then go to have something to eat. ::

Here's a link to their menu:

      http://www.thecheesecakefactory.com/menu.htm

Give me a moment to test it to be sure it works. I don't post links very often and forget how to do it every time!

      Edited to add:

      The link works!

      Re: cheesecake factory worth visiting?

It is one of our favorite places. It's out at the expensive mall here and I swear it's the only restaurant we've visited in the mall.

The portions are HUGE and they do encourage sharing. Out of the appetizers we love the sweet tamale corn cakes. YUM. Out of the entrees, we love the shrimp and bacon club sandwich and the pasta da vinci. The menu is HUGE and we haven't tried hardly anything but we love those two.

The cheesecakes are yummy too. We usually get it to go because we are too full. The BEST cheesecake is their pumpkin cheesecake which is only available seasonally.

      Re: cheesecake factory worth visiting?

I thought it was very overrated to be honest (please dont flame me!). The menu was very long and that is something I dont like in a restaurant. I would have rather had a small portion with some veg than the huge portion I had which I could only eat a quarter of. DS's burger was fine but it was the probably the one he rates least on his holiday. DD's teriyaki chicken was OK again but nothing exciting. I wanted to be wowed but wasnt.
