Re: chicken tenders?
It's been reported on another site that they are still chicken strips, not processed and formed chicken, but they are smaller. You receive 5 or 6 now, rather than the previous three.
Not good for those watching carbs, unfortunately. :sigh;

Re: chicken tenders?
They didn't look like chicken tenders last week. They lookeds like chicken nuggets. They were not as good as they used to be, all breading...yuck.

Re: chicken tenders?
Sounds like quality has been down-graded again.

It's getting harder for me to find things to eat at WDW. Between being a picky eater, low sodium diet (mostly by choice, but by applauded by doctor), food allergies and just plain old watching consumption of some food categories (think my beloved carbs), the options are becoming pretty limited.
And I've discovered that I really don't like the CS hamburgers at WDW--they're overcooked and not very high quality. I knew I wasn't overly fond of them, but last December's visit cemented that thought. sigh; On the bright side, I discovered that the Food Court CMs at Pop Century were willing to work with me to substitute foods I could eat, when possible.

There are lots and lots of wonderful food options off-site too. There just isn't much diversity at WDW IMO. You cannot find a baked potato anywhere on property, every potato is mashed. Which is fine usually but when I have a steak, I want a baked potato too.

Ahhhhh! The love of a baked potato and plain old dinner roll!

At YSH, they allowed me to substitute a baked potato for the garlic mashed potatoes. I'm not fond of entire cloves of garlic in my mashed potatoes and was tired of picking them out! And they actually had good dinner rolls--no fruit, berries, nuts or other stuff mixed in! Heaven!
Johnie, if I'm traveling solo I usually don't rent a car, so offsite isn't an option. It just didn't make sense to rent a car that sits in the parking lot for 11 to 12 days.
And I thoroughly enjoy not driving while on holiday!

Re: chicken tenders?
You can get a baked potato in that kiosk like place near the Haunted Mansion. Unfortunately, they are soggy and cold.
