LONDON, Oct 14 (Reuters) - British airline Virgin Atlantic said it has cut its passenger fuel surcharges following the drop in oil prices.
From 2300 GMT on Wednesday, Virgin Atlantic will reduce the charge by up to 13 pounds ($22.81) per passenger, depending on the destination and class of cabin, the airline said on Tuesday.
Passengers travelling on longer flights in economy class will benefit from the full 13-pound cut, taking the charge to 96 pounds ($168).
Passengers travelling in premium economy class will pay five pounds less on shorter flights and 6.50 pounds less on longer flights. (Reporting by Myles Neligan;
