Re: pay as you go phone for orlando?
I purchased two at Walmart for Kazzaqld and her DS...they were Tracphone brand phones (very nice actually) and cost under $10 for the phone, case, charger and car charger...you can top the minutes off online or over the phone, or even with a card purchased at Walmart...
I've a photo of one somewhere around here...

You can purchase them at almost any grocery, pharmacy or discount store in the US. Best prices probably are at WalMart or Target. Some phones use SIM cards, some don't. So don't be surprised if you purchase one and there is no SIM card. I've owned them both ways.

We've used the Net10 and the Tracphones previously on vacation. Both are pretty cheap and work fine.

We bought some LG mobiles on the Net10 network from Walmart, they were $29.95 - doesn't sound cheap, but that includes 300mins talk time, which is supposed to be worth $30, so in effect you get a free phone.
The cheaper $10 mobiles don't usually come with any airtime.
Here is a link if you would like to take a look,

No, they don't ship to the UK - we bought in store on the first day.
