nothing is to much trouble both dave and i are extremely fussy and it isnt a problem

I've become quite adept at ordering things prepared plainly. Not by choice, but by necessity. I ususally start by saying to the server, "I really need your help."
Once I've gotten the server to buy into my "needs" it usually is quite a successful meal that is delivered.

Even counter service in the parks and WDW resorts accommodates "plain" pretty well. Not sure about how salads are served there, though--if dressing is separate and can be added or not. I'm thinking it probably is, as some people want a lot, others a little, other none at all.
I'm another "plain and fussy" eater.
