presents
Do you bring back presents for the folk at home when you go on a trip to WDW?
We used to spend a whole day looking for pressies to bring back but last year we just bought for the people who were kind enough to keep an eye on our house for us.

Re: presents
We used to but not really anymore. I do end up bringing the Mickey shaped coconut patties for the people in my office. They love those!

Re: presents
We buy cute things for the local kidlets... this year we brought back a raft of fun Mexican t shirts back for the boys and Mexican bead bangles for the girls. The kidlets are the ones who come and knock for DH to play, they come in gangs of around five to eight and he finds things for them to do. They kind of look up to him, this year they begged us for another pumpkin carving day like we have had before in our back yard, so if it's ok with their Mums we let them carve their own pumpkins and carry them home with a little tea light candle.
They come round and take our trash bins out and when they're empty they bring them back for us, in autumn they sweep the leaves up and gather them up in our back yard, keeps them busy and helps us out and they get 50p for the ice cream van.

Re: presents
I still do for the children

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.
Winne the Pooh - A A Milne

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.
