Virgin still using remote stands at manchester?

I read that they were going to review it at the end of october, does anyone know if theyre back to using proper gates now or not?

i dont think anyone knows yet I keep reading trip reports on the virgin forums and some people are saying that they had a proper gate in november but then others saying when they arrived back they got a stand because of terminal congestion

I really hope they go back to using gates. With those remote stands what happens if it rains when we're waiting to get on the plane

They were still using the remote stands when we returned home on Oct 13th.

Ive been watching too and emailed Virgin but the only reply was that the trial was up until the end of October at which point it would be reviewed :/

Well the people on vflyer are reporting that the proper air bridges are back! so fingers crossed
