Re: Those cruise menus are they all free?
The only problem I have is that it`s not until you collect your "Key to the World" card at check-in that you know what your rotation dining plan is.
Therefore I have to make a bee-line to the Palo`s reservation desk as soon as I board the ship because I don`t want our night at Palo`s to clash with say the Formal Evening or the "Show" at Animator`s Palate etc.
As Parrot Cay is my least favourite restaurant on-board [don`t get me wrong, but I prefer the ambience of the other two restaurants], I tend to aim for one of the nights when we should be there in order to dine at Palo`s.
It`s well worth the reservation fee to dine there though.
As Lisaw stated, all the food is free in the restaurants although obviously speciality/alcoholic drinks [and coffees] are charged to your stateroom.

Re: Those cruise menus are they all free?
Disneymom,
All the restaurants and food listed in the menus is included. The only things to note from these menus is that the mentioned cocktails and alcoholic beverages listed incur a extra charge. Also, there's an $15 (plus gratuity) per person charge for dinner at Palo since Palo is not part of the normal dining rotation. Other than these exceptions, the restaurants and food is all included. In fact, there's more than just these menus. These are the main restaurant menus. There's also a number of casual dining options. Like Topsiders (buffet), Pluto's Dog House (hot dogs, hamburgers), Pinnochio's Pizzeria (self explanatory), Goofy's Galley (sandwiches and such). Oh... and of course, room service. You won't go hungry! :p
A little hard to believe that the food's all included. They even encourage you to try different things. For instance, if you order an entree you've never had before and decide you don't like it, no problem, they'll bring you a different entree. And the food's all wonderful.
You can eat yourself silly!
If you'd like, here's a link to DCL's podcast on dining.

Re: Those cruise menus are they all free?
Same holds true on other cruise lines, as well. There may be those speciality restaurants that charge a per person cover, but other than that all food is free. The drinks are extra as stated.
You can purchase "bottomless" cups for some things like sodas, once you get onboard. They usually work out to be a good deal, if you are a soda drinker.Thank you for being a member of our Secrets Family!!! We are so very pleased to have you with us!

Re: Those cruise menus are they all free?
Disney used to do it this way also. Now, they've eliminated that program and all soft drinks are included.
I almost wish they hadn't changed this as I've got quite a nice collection of mugs that I purchased on previous cruises. Nice souvenirs. Ah well.... :sigh;
Tom (who some refer to as "bottomless" also)
