Re: Sending parcels to the USA
Well yes. BUT!!! It's an old, old recipe and very tasty.
There is a white pudding too. Not nearly as nice as the black.
I can't have either though. :sigh; Not on the "diet." :sigh; No matter. We bought some here once from an import store. Icky, yuckkko! NOTHING like the kind I had in Ireland.
Like a true Guinness, it's something that waits for me there.

Re: Sending parcels to the USA
Wendy,
It will indeed be FAR cheaper to ship here than to ship to here from there. If you have room in your luggage I would bring it with. I honestly don't believe customs will bother you.

Re: Sending parcels to the USA
Awwwwww Siobhan.
Ya don't mean that, dooya'?

To be certain, I'm sure it sounds horrid to many. I'm not even sure why I tried it the first time. I'm a pushover for sausages of any sort though, and it's rather like that. At least in shape anyway. It's mostly grain.

I LOVE IT!!! I'm going to be remembering that one!

This sounds like one of those things I need to try without being told what it is :

Black pudding YUK!!!! Tink I can't believe you like it
I agree with Siobham it's as bad as marmite.
OK, I will bring things with me and have a trip to the post office
Mystik that's a good idea about not wrapping them
I'll just have to remember to bring the wrapping paper with me

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.
