The telescope is just the tube the mount is the 'tripod' it sits on it contains the computer and motor to track the object - also contains a polar scope for alignment and the weights to balance

no just the scope - the skywatcher ed80 is 230 for just th eoptical tube and nothing else. - the mount for mine was £700 on top of the cost of the scope

oh and mick - these are mainly for imaging - you wouldn't see as much through these as you would with a large aperture reflector
