Making christmas cards?
hi ive got some nice hand made cards this year and id like to try to do some as well
the cutouts look professsional though as if theyve been bought or something more than just cut out with scissors if you know what i mean
is there a kit or something that people use or a special way to do the cutouts of mickeys and things like that?

Re: Making christmas cards?
Donna has LOTS of crafting tools. Her main one is indeed a Cricut. It is called Cricut Expressions I believe. She also uses a Cuttle Bug.

Re: Making christmas cards?
There are different types of Cricut machines out there. Here is their site if you want to browse it.

Re: Making christmas cards?
they are expensive - the cuttlebug is cheaper and you buy the dies to go in it. I have the big shot which has lots of dies. It can be quite expensive.
The alternative is to buy them already cut out, people sell them on ebay or you can buy themed diecuts from retailers. There is a good forum www.ukscrappers.co.uk that has lots and lots of information.

Re: Making christmas cards?
I have a Sissix machine plus various dies that I never use. I was wondering if I should sell it but it's so heavy it'll cost a fortune to ship. If you were local to me mgmrach I would gladly lend it to you to see how you get on with it but I doubt you live that close. PM me if you are close enough and we can sort something out if you're interested.
