Well, i went to bed to watch the results show - wasn't it fantastic, Alexandra was incredible. I found it to be quite an emotional show - more than any other that I've bothered to watch in the past....this one really got me in it's grip!

I did like the JLS version too but Alexandra's just out of this world Eoghan was indeed very gracious in his defeat - he has done himself proud to be in 3rd place.

I have no doubt that we'll be seeing Eoghan and JLS in the future, as well (maybe) of some of the singers that was voted out along the way.

I tried to vote for that Beyonce girl - she was head and shoulders above the rest.

Honestly I thought Alex was a classy singer but when Beyonce opened her mouth and started to sing I saw an amazing chasm between the two talent levels. Don't get me wrong - Alex is awesome and will go far, but Beyonce is a megastar.

We voted for Alex in this house. Adrian had to sit for an hour permanently hitting redial before he managed to get through.

And Thelma and Louise were back!!!

PS - I don't like the winner's single, regardless of who is singing it.
