silver wedding anniversary
Still not 100% if we can go to Florida at the end of this year or not. We did both get permission from work to go but it depends how DH's job goes later in the year. He is down to a 4 day week and it will be reviewed in a couple of months. If his hours stay the same, we can go on a tight budget. If he loses more hours or heavens forbid loses his job, then it will be out of the question.
Anyway, if we do go, the only thing I want to push the boat out for will be our silver wedding anniversary which is in December.
I'd love some ideas on how to celebrate this......

Ohhh... I know, I know....
Dinner at Victoria and Alberts!!!!

My DW and I did this celebrating an anniversary a number of years ago and while expensive, it's an experience not to be missed!

Re: silver wedding anniversary
Our Issy isn't a huge lover of that sort of food.

How about taking the Grand out for a Wishes Cruise? You could have a bottle of champagne and a cake ordered.

Don't you need to be an onsite guest to book the Grand

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.

no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.

Re: silver wedding anniversary
Oh! I don't know? Do you?
Well, if that is the case then that would be the splash out, eh?
One night at a WDW resort and a booking of the Grand.

Re: silver wedding anniversary
definitely, a night in the honeymoon suite at the GF and an evening on the Grand - couldn't be better
I'd love to book the Grand again - I'd just make sure I took some mozzie spray this time
maybe we'll just have to stay onsite again for a couple of days

That was a lovely experience, Wendy. You were so kind to invite us along!
Didn't the little Off wipes help?
