      News Cinderella Castle Suite to stay open in 2009

      The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Disney has confirmed that Disney will continue to operate the suite atop Cinderella Castle at least thru 2009.

      The three room suite was refurbished in 2007 as a 'Grand Prize' in the Year of a Million Dreams promotion. Lucky guests who were selected at random won a one night stay in the suite, complete with their own personal concierge (more like 'security' to make sure people didn't go wandering around the Magic Kingdom at 2am which is a shame because this is exactly what I'd love to do).

      Disney will continue to operate the suite in 2009, and offer it as a prize for special promotions.
