you rae very kind this was only what iscalled a 'first light image' if I get it working properly and the scope tracks properly then I should be able to get much much better- this was one from slightly lower down the terminator that wasn't quite so good

I'm really impressed right now!
I just can't seem to get my mind to accept that you are getting such close shots of the moon! It just seems to futuristic, so impossible to me!

Chris, that is brilliant
I saw the Moon for the first time through my telescope last night thanks to you and your advice. Wasn't perfect, was frustrating, had clouds coming over much earlier than forecast, but I saw it
It's actually a lot harder than I thought but I'm determined to crack it as it's fun and amazing!
Seeing your pic tonight has made me all excited that in 954 years time I may be able to do that too or even just see it like that!!!
