Which are the best dinner shows?

We've already been recommended to Arabian nights and medieval times but theres also a luau at seaworld and some others.

Anyone got any must sees or perhaps stay away froms?

Re: Which are the best dinner shows?

Arabian Nights does not have a very good reputation here, I'm afraid. Medieval Times can be fun. The food isn't all that, but it's better than most of those places.

Seaworld's Luau is quite nice actually. It's nicer than the luau we went to in Hawaii!

I've not been to the Disney Luau, but have heard nice things about it.

The Hoop De Doo Review has a wonderful following. Our Keith goes each time they are here!!!

      Hope that helps a bit.

Re: Which are the best dinner shows?

      yep to everything Tink said

The Seaworld luau is perhaps a little more authentic, whereas the Disney luau is a little more disneyfied especially with the new storyline behind it. Both are worth doing

As Tink says, food is never great in any of these shows

Arabian nights I guess would be great if you really liked horses but as a show we found it very lacking.

Medieval times is more fun thats for sure

The outa control magic show is very cheap and the food is ok, pizza so not much they could get wrong there

The hoop dee doo has gone down a LITTLE over the years. The wine is now much cheaper than it used to be and so not nearly as nice the chicken always seems pretty dry unlike how it used to be... theyve changed from sweetcorn to mash (probably a good move but all these things have changed the experience). All in all it's just not quite as good as it was but it's still a must do if you haven't done it before

What about the new pirate one?

And what the enemy will see? They will see the flash of our cannons, and they will hear the ringing of our swords, and they will know what we can do! By the sweat of our brow and the strength of our backs and the courage in our hearts! Gentlemen, hoist the colors!

And it's reputation is slipping. I don't know what went on at that place, but locals are talking about how the health department should be called in?

word on the street was that they had a period where the employees were fedup of poor pay, poor tips and started playing fast and loose with health codes. IN THEORY I hear that this has been taken in hand but I didn't visit on the last trip and sometimes these things are behind the scenes anyway :/

Re: Which are the best dinner shows?

I've been to the pirates one....got free tickets so we went. It was ok. Food was edible and it was fun. I'd be more critical had I paid for it.

I've been to the luau at Royal Pacific Resort at Universal. It was fun.

      HDDR is always fun.

The Al capone dinner show was buy one get one free and lots of fun as well. Probably the best deal since it was so cheap.

We went to Medieval Times in LA. It was fine but I was obsessed with having an asthma attack so that colored it a bit for me.
