I'll set the scene - small bathroom, open door and there's the loo - tired Mum walking into bathroom first thing in the morning.

I walked towards the bathroom taking off my glasses as I went in order to put my contact lenses in, open bathroom door, glasses LITERALLY jump out of my hand and land......................

DOWN THE FLIPPIN' LOO!

and YES, there *was* wee in it from where we'd all been to the loo in the night and hadn't flushed!

DH came to the rescue and fished them out with a wire hanger!

they have been thoroughly washed and are sitting on my nose as we speak! There is a bit of a funny smell round here though.......

I dropped my hairbrush in once and I had to throw it out even though the water was clean. I'm too fussy for my own good sometimes...
