Patrick Swayze
Anyone else watching the Barbara Walters special with Patrick Swayze?
It's just so sad, he looks so skinny. Growing up I wanted to have the Dirty Dancing experience when I got older. (Okay, I still want that experience). Johnny Castle was just a fantastic character and I wanted one of my own. I own the 20 anniversary special DVD and also have the music from the movie. Road House was another great one. Of course, we can't forget Ghost. I remember taking crafts in high school and part of it included the pottery wheel. I kept hoping he would appear.
Being such a fan for so many years, I really do hope that he beats the odds.

No, I saw the commercials and that was enough for me. I just love his work and it's so sad to see him like this.

His wife has been talking some. They have been married for 33 years. Not going to lie, I have teared up some.

Re: Patrick Swayze
I didn't know it was on, but to be honest I couldn't have watched it.
Surprisingly, I actually liked Dirty Dancing.
I liked Ghost too.
It's just flat out sad.

It is sad. i do hope he makes it but pancreatic cancer has such a high mortality rate.
I remember when Michael Landon was on Johnny Carson when he was so sick. It was awful to watch. He was a fighting person too.I am a travel agent with The Magic For Less Travel. Please private message me if you'd like help booking a trip!

Re: Patrick Swayze
my Uncle has a form of cancer with a 99.99% kill rate. He has survived it for 30yrs now. It stayed in remission for 15 yrs came back and he fought it again. it's gone into remission and popped up from time to time...but my point is..it is possible for him to beat this.

Wow, that is great for your uncle and also his family.

I unfortunately missed the last 15 minutes of the show. Due to him being so skinny, it brought memories of seeing a very ill Rock Hudson.

Re: Patrick Swayze
I watched it foreverducky . It was awful to see how old looking and how skinny he has gotten . I Loved Dirty Dancing, Road House & Ghost . It was so sad to see how HOT he was, till now .
I'm glad however that he is a fighter and has already out lived his prognosis . He is not letting this deadly killer , stop him from doing what he feels is needed . Bless Him !
Johnie, I remember when Michael Landon was ill . I still watch reruns of Little House .
Such A Shame !!!
