Re: Would you recommend the Grand Floridian Afternoon Tea
It's a wonderfully relaxing way to spend some time out of the heat and away from the crowds. I'd love to do it again

Re: Would you recommend the Grand Floridian Afternoon Tea
We've done it several times and really enjoyed it! Once we did it with two of our 9-year old granddaughters and they had a ball! They loved having their own teapots filled with hot chocolate, and they loved the little sandwiches, cakes, ans scones!

Re: Would you recommend the Grand Floridian Afternoon Tea
I'm the sole voice of dissent.
We did the high tea and I was terribly disappointed.
The sandwiches were so old the bread was dried out and curling. The scones were cold and crunchy, and the service was sloppy (spilled food, etc.). We did have the champagne and that was nice, but that's about it.
We had reservations and still had to wait quite a bit to be seated (a very surly CM at the podium) and no, it wasn't busy.
For the high cost we'll stick with a lovely ride to Mt. Dora and have high tea there at the Windsor Rose with proper English service.
(It's owned by an English woman and she does a beautiful job).
I know everyone else loves it there but we won't be returning.Thank you for being a member of our Secrets Family!!! We are so very pleased to have you with us!

Re: Would you recommend the Grand Floridian Afternoon Tea
I've been several times and it has been nothing but excellent.
We did a tea service for my sister's bridal party. I just want to say the one we went to here was just sad. I completely compared it to the GF one and it came up short.I am a travel agent with The Magic For Less Travel. Please private message me if you'd like help booking a trip!

Mt. Dora is very lovely, Kazza. It's not all that far from WDW and is one of those little picturesque towns with pretty shops and a good choice of places to have lunch, dinner or tea!
We like going there from time to time. Depending upon the route you use to get there, you can combine it with a stop at the Yalaha bakery.
