New super high power telescope
Skywatcher told me over and over not to compromise or go for a low priced telescope. I took his advice and waited, saved up and finally saw the ideal unit. Now I shouldn't really be showing you it, it even says on the box it can be used for "top secret spy science" but anyway, here it is. So, Skywatcher, which planets and nebulae should I be looking out for tonight?

Re: New super high power telescope

that is a fine choice Keith can't wait to see the photos. The cosmos has been opened to you.

I think its lovely that you still believe the story about size not mattering

Re: New super high power telescope
I have been personally assured many many times over the years that it doesn't, much like Father Christmas and the tooth fairy, all I can say is, I choose to believe

At least the lens looks correctly made on mine
You're all meanies and you will rue the day you made fun of my huge scope (oooerr). You'll all be telling tales of the day I whipped it out to show you when I'm on the BBC! (although possibly crime watch rather than sky at night
)
ps. apologies for the innuendo but as you know, there's a standing rule that any and all Skywatcher threads should descend into chaos
