Alamo Direct Road

Hi All,

Has anybody used Alamo Direct Road before? Apparently you register your details before you go and it makes the process of picking up your car quicker. What I would like to know is whether there is a seperate queue for this or is it the same queue and they have your details so just save a couple of minutes?

my unc uses it all the time and loves it you just jump past everyone. watch their faces as you do so its a picture he said lol

I don't know why everyone does not use it. It is free and is just a matter of filling in a form online.

'Ware Alamo.

I travel quite a bit for work, and have recently stopped using Alamo due to changes in their policies, their horrid garmins, and their equally horrid staff (lately).

I've switched to Budget for the next few trips. Will see how that goes.

I've never had a problem with Alamo or National (owned by the same company). I do have 2 horror stories regarding Budget though. Ended up on the side of the road twice waiting for them to bring me another car.
