It's like the others say, cold, damp, sunny, windy and if you are really unlucky it might even snow

It also depends on where you go, it tends to be colder the further up North you go. London is usually cold. Devon and Cornwall are normally warmer but they are also wetter. Wales and Scotland will usually be colder.

March is certainly not the time I would choose to go to the UK but I'm sure you have your reasons Becca.

Re: Right then, what's the weather like in March in the UK?
LOL, uscwest...I do. It's called two weeks off with pay
I take 'em when I get 'em ya know?
It's not a dead certain just yet...Jon and I are just bouncing ideas around. We've found a decent deal on airfare...and well, lucky for us, the exchange rate isn't what it used to be (sorry, doc)...
Oddly, it boils down to...wedding or Britain
So then...if you wouldn't choose March, when *would* you say the best time to visit is?

Re: Right then, what's the weather like in March in the UK?
May *can* be warm and sunny sometimes, as can June and July but I wouldn't guarantee good weather in August.
Actually I woudn't guarantee any month!
We had rain and wind and grey skies a while ago - now the sun's shining.

I'd vote for wedding
but time it right so that we can come as well
You can't take anything for granted with our weatherSo then...if you wouldn't choose March, when *would* you say the best time to visit is?
the end of May can be good (but the last week is school half term so the prices are up), June and early July are quite nice. End of July and August are school holidays so again it will be silly prices
