Anyone heard this ADR rumour?

Unconfirmed rumour

Disney will be moving the vast majority of their restaurant back into a 90 days out booking window so no more having to decide where you want to eat 180 days out.

Anyone heard anything?

It's the only thing that keeps me sane 6 months before we go being able to book restaurants for every day of our holiday.

Well I'm defrosting some turkey mince right now and beyond that I have no idea what I'm doing with it to serve in 3 hours time, so asking me to decide where I want to eat in 6 months...

Yes, I've heard the rumor, but nothing confirmed yet. I know that WDW restaurants are in a real state. With the DDP it's a huge mess. The service has fallen off and so has the quality of the food.

It rallied there for a bit, but is now in trouble again. Not sure if the 90 day window will help any of that, but we'll just have to wait and see, eh?

From a local point of view, I so miss the days when we could just walk up to many (not all) of the full service restaurants and be served. :sigh;

ME TOO!!!!!

heck, the first time we went, we walked upto le cellier and had the most wonderful meal there. It was difficult before the dining plan but now it's super difficult and the service/food has definitely gone off

Me too. I remember walking into Epcot at opening and going into Guest Services and talking to the CM on the TV screen and telling them we fancied lunch in France today and walking away with a 1pm seating time. :sigh;

In some ways I like the spontaneity of just picking where to eat as and when you feel hungry and this is impossible in the parks during busy times but that said, having two special needs children, spontaneity is a luxury at the best of times! With that in mind, booking ahead (even as far as 90 days out) is a necessity.
