Hoop-Dee-Doo seating?

Hi, I've just read this on the 2009 DDP info-

The Disney Dining Plan can be used for Category 2 or Category 3 seating at all Dinner Shows (subject to availability) and Category 1 seating at the 9:30pm Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue (subject to availabilty).

Can anyone tell me what the categories mean? They didn't have that when we last went.

Cat 1 is up nearer to the stage.

Cat 2 is the floor towards the middle and back

Cat 3 is the upstairs

So 3 would probably have fewer children then?

I doubt it.

The late night show would probably have less children. We don't go to that one unless it's our first night there.

on the other hand, I always do the latest show

Upstairs is fine. You still see everything and less chance of being picked on but you do feel a little less involved in the show

Anywhere is fine though it really is

You know 9:30pm isn't late for me at home but it feels like midnight when I am at WDW!

We've sat on the balcony once and I didn't like the way the tables are set up. It was just awkward for me.

I did enjoy it although it was a different feel. The cast does come upstairs to talk with the folks up there.
