      bay lake towers takes reservations

      Members with ownership interests in Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort may begin making reservations for their new home resort on Feb. 8. On that same date, Members with ownership interests at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort may begin making reservations for the resort's new Treehouse Villas accommodations.

      All Disney Vacation Club Members may book reservations for Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort and the Treehouse Villas accommodations at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa beginning on Feb. 22.

      Construction of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort remains ahead of schedule, putting the new Disney Vacation Club Resort on pace for an estimated opening on Aug. 4.

      In related news, with Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort scheduled to open on Aug. 4, the original Disney's Contemporary Resort will leave The Disney Collection on March 14. Until then, Members may continue booking Disney's Contemporary Resort reservations through The Disney Collection for stays with check-out days on or before Dec. 31, 2009.

      I am really looking forward to staying at three of the new DVCs! No plans to do so yet, but we'll be making at least weekend plans for stays at Bay Lake, the Treehouses and AKLV.

      Ummmm...if we need extra people for the Treehouses, anyone care to volunteer?

      What does the red-highlighted sentence mean? That CR no longer will be part of the DVC package? Totally confused! Not all that unusual for me.

      If you need another volunteer for the Treehouse Villas, count me in--if it's 2010! The house still is gobbling money at a rapid pace this year.

      No you can still get rooms at CR for points...You can even get rooms at Caribbean Beach for points (just not the value resorts which is weird..)


      HOORAY FOR BLT! Thats my familys home resort! Yea..I may own a faucet somewhere!

      I managed to get an MK view studio for 2 nights starting on opening day
      ~July 2009 ~ 5 weeks in Florida AKV, Villa, Vero, BLT, SSR & GF~
      ~October 2009 ~ WL, CR Tower Club & BLT~
      ~August 2010 ~ DCL and Bay Lake Towers~
