      Re: Best disney tour?

I believe you book them through the "play Disney" department (if that makes any sense).

We've only done the EPCOT Segway tour and it was wicked cool!

We want to do nearly every other one, just have never gotten around to it!

There are folks here though that have done any number of tours, and I'm sure they'll be along soon to share their experiences with you.
Thank you for being a member of our Secrets Family!!! We are so very pleased to have you with us!

If you haven't joined yet, do register. It's a great place to make friends and share all those Disney secrets!!

      Comprehensive list here:

We've done the Keys to the Kingdom tour. It was extremely interesting and good value.

      Re: Best disney tour?

Remember, most of the tours are limited to ages 16 and up.

There is--or was--a family tour that includes little ones. I know someone has done it, but can't remember who!

I did KTTK--Keys to the Kingdom--in 2006 and loved it. Even Leu enjoyed it, and she didn't want to do it initially! We both grew up with Disney and at Disneyland, so she was skeptical about learning anything new and enjoying the process. She kept trying to talk her DD into taking the tour in December 2007 while we watched the kidlets--didn't happen.

We have done the family magic tour in the MK It is more of a treasure hunt than a tour though but lots of fun for kids

      Re: Best disney tour?

      I love the tours!

Favourites have been keys to the kingdom (probably the one I thought was best value), backstage magic and the yuletide fantasy tour.

There's something really special about being escorted around the parks like a vip with a really knowledgeable cast member. Some of the tours include taking you on rides bypassing the queues which is nice I Think it was keys to the kingdom which took us via a back door onto the haunted mansion and onto the jungle cruise

      Re: Best disney tour?

Jon and I took the Keys to the Kingdom Tour last year. It was phenomenal. I must add that I went against my "initial" wishes. I was terrified it would ruin the "magic" I associate so closely with all things Disney. What I found, in the end, was just the opposite. There is a "magic" in not knowing how everything is "done." But for some things, once you've learn the amount of time and effort invested in them, you have a far deeper appreciation and respect for them.

We're hoping to do the Behind The Magic Tour in March, but haven't committed to it just yet...
