scrapbook for the wedding?

just thinking I may do one but if i do i'd like to start it early and include the preparations in it so it follows the whole story through....

not 100% sure if i'll do it but if i do have you any ideas to get me started as i have no idea?

fabulous idea!! you could make up some pages before hand so that photos can be just stuck in afterwards - there are loads sites on t'internet with ideas or you can use scrapmaps to help you with page layouts.

the trend with wedding photography is on the details at the moment - dress/shoes/rings etc etc. Maybe take photos of all the elements and document why the bride chose certain things etc etc


what about having a couple of pages for people to write comments and wishes for the happy couple.

the ideas are endless.

Brit is the expert! Seriously, she can help you design an incredibly beautiful book. I don't know the first thing about "scrapping" but reading our Brit's comments over the years has convinced me that she's the "go to" woman for creativity.

ooo thank you! I'll have to try and get a photo of the engagement ring i guess......it's beautiful, they had it made up from 3 different rings!

how would i present the pages for guests comments? usually there's a book but if i want to stick the pages in i'd have to present them differently

or maybe cut bits of card and decorate them round the edges or something and leave them on the tables for guests to fill in then you can stick them on blank pagesw? you could vary the embellishments a little - doesn't need to be complicated.

i don't know if i showed you this site before but it's good for inspiration - i love the layouts because you can adopt them for whatever you have- if you look on the left handside you can download the layouts as a pdf and save

i downloaded smilebox as it looked quite interesting, having trouble with some of it out but my laptop is soooooo slow that it doesn't really help much!

i'm just going to tell them i want an engagement picture of the 2 of them and one of the ring by itself....they won't be surprised, they think i'm a bit camera loopy anyway!

what about a photo of her hand on his showing the ring against a white or black background. We could do a bit of magicry with it and make it look fab!

and i've UNinstalled smilebox as i can't print stuff from it and the page i was trying it out on just got stuck and wouldn't go anywhere....
