Can I join in on this thread as i feel I need therapy??!!
I'm watching the series a few weeks behind as I'm in the UK and I'm recording it on Sky+...but I'm spending my weekends catching up on it and ending up in tears...this series is going to push me over the edge!!
I feel like I'm watching an old friend disappear...isn't there any way to stop it from leaving us...?!!!We may all grow old but don't ever grow up xxxxx

You know? I haven't watched ER for many seasons. I stopped several years ago when it became more of a soap opera (in my sole opinion, of course). But I actually caught it last night when channel surfing. I watched it because I thought I'd been there at the beginning, so perhaps I should be there at the end. I can't say I followed it all (that soap opera thing again) but did understand enough of what was going on to feel sad at the writing on the wall.
If I remember (and boy is that a huge IF) I'll try to catch it next week too. Is that the actual finale? I couldn't really tell from the closing adverts shown last night.
