Stuff to see
Hi guys, been pretty hectic. Just got back from a NASA conference in Charlotte. It was great. Just wanted to let you know of the really neat looking sky this week. Check out the crescent moon and Venus tonight! Should be awesome this week. I looked great last night with the moon below Venus near sunset. It will be very close (well close here in the Eastern US) tonight. Also over the next week or so, look to the south between the cicle of Leo and Pollux in Gemini to see the comet Lulin. It will be moving towards the sun, its tail facing east the comma to the west each night.

I'll try to remember to look outside tonight. The weather should be gorgeous with few clouds.
I heard about it on the local nightly news--at 1:00 this morning. I was trying to go to sleep and the news finally sent me into the land of Nod!

Re: Stuff to see
well thats just lovely - I am still blown away by the fact that with a simple camera you can get the surface of another world - a star would just be a pinpoint! - did you get time to look through the scope dawn?
