Wake up calls at Disney?

Someone said we could book a wakeup call from Mickey?

How do we do it please

and can we choose characters?

There is a button on the phone to call and you use an automated system to book the time you want the call. Last time we were there it was the same message every morning - it's very cute though, I always fight the kids to get to the phone first

We always set the alarm for 5 minutes before so we are awake and waiting for the phone to ring so we can put it on loudspeaker!

You can't select the characters. It's been Stitch the last few times we've visited WDW. But our last visit was December 2007.

I was lucky enough to get Mickey on my birthday. Perfect.

I was given a tip to set the call for 5 minutes before the hour. I don't know if that did have anything to do with getting Mickey but it's worth a try.
