Typhoon Lagoon reopens after extended refurbishment

Typhoon Lagoon has reopened after an extended 5 month refurbishment. Besides the normal clean and maintenance, the wave pool received an extensive overhaul.

the difference to the pool is that instead of the wave being curved its now going to be like a brickwall. the CM i spoke to in october said its just going to be straight up like a wall and will hit you even harder

Glad they refurbed it! A number of years ago, my DW and I were standing in it waiting for the waves. After about half an hour, we asked the CM that was nearby how often the waves came. He told us "about every 90 seconds when it's working"!
