Re: Medieval Times discount
How was it? We have one here in IL that I would like to try, but wanted to know if it was worth it. How was the show and the food?

Re: Medieval Times discount
The show was really cool. They have a lot of pre show activities as well. The food is edible. I didn't leave hungry but I certainly didn't have the best meal of my life. The thing is that they don't have silverware so you have to eat with your hands. It wasn't as messy as I thought it would be.

Re: Medieval Times discount
We went to the one in Kissimmee in 2008.
The show was ok but I enjoyed Arabian Nights way better.
The food was as Johnie said...edible, and we had no complaints because we weren't expecting too much.

Re: Medieval Times discount
Goes to show how different shows suit different people. We were SO disappointed by Arabian nights, we truly were. Medieval Times was one of the better shows we've tried although the food is only OK and I dont like the eating with your fingers.
So show wise, MT for us definitely.
One annoying bit I always have to mention. They were very tip oriented and they mentioned the expected tip, they then put round cards stating tips would basically be expected and THEN the servers stood at the end of each row so effectively you couldn't get out without going past them meaning most people felt pretty obliged to give them something.
Not that I'm saying folks don't deserve a tip, just that the more someone boxes me into paying one, the less I want to

Okay, so stash a plastic fork and knife into purse.

Sounds definitely like worth doing especially if I can get a good deal.

Re: Medieval Times discount
Oh and what kind of food is offered? Are there choices? I'm such a picky eater.
