Birthday at WDW
I think one of the options/perks of spending your birthday at WDW is a voucher to spend in a WDW shop. Does this voucher also have to be spent on that day or can you save it for a later date?

Re: Birthday at WDW
You can save it!
We went to WDW on my birthday and it was a simple matter to go to the ticket window (IG at WS in my case) and present my AP with driver license to obtain one of three options.
You can have a single park, single day ticket for use at any time within the year.
You can have fast pass for all day for everyone in your party to be used on the birthday and it expires at the end of that day.
You can choose the gift card that has $75 on it and is good in WDW shops (not all, very specific about that) and does not expire. It cannot be used for food or beverages.
Again, those are the options for someone with an AP who goes to a WDW park on her/his actual birthday. You must do that to take advantage of the options as they are not available to you any other day.Thank you for being a member of our Secrets Family!!! We are so very pleased to have you with us!

Re: Birthday at WDW
Thanks Tink.
I didn't realise you had to have an annual pass for the options you mentioned.
We will actually have AP's and I think DH would go for the $75 voucher.
If it is your birthday and you don't have an AP....do you still get something? (maybe a lesser option)

Re: Birthday at WDW
If it's your birthday and you don't have an AP then you are allowed into the park for free. That was the original promotion. Spend your birthday at WDW. Then, for those of us with APs, WDW came up with those three options I described.

Not bad, eh?

Re: Birthday at WDW
The three options other that free entry are also available to you if you have a valid multi day pass.
Thats what we are going to do, it's my son's birthday whilst we are there and we will have 21 day passes. So he will get vouchers to spend.

Re: Birthday at WDW
Oh! Thank you! That is very good to know.
I wondered about that (same principle as the AP after all) but wasn't sure.

Re: Birthday at WDW
Does the voucher have to be spent in one transaction?
